Koot Metals’ strip supply programme includes stainless steel, aluminium, bronze, copper, copper-iron, copper-nickel-silicon, nickel and other special materials.

Some of the factories Koot Metals represents cast the material themselves. Depending on the alloy specification, different metals and additives are used.

By rolling the material, the thickness is gradually reduced.

Depending on the alloy, the hardness, electrical conductivity and formability can be adjusted through annealing processes.

At the slitting lines, the strip is cut to the width specified by the customer.

Depending on the intended use, flatness and edge stresses can be optimised through stretch-bend-levelling processes.
